"Easy to read. My daughter seems to like the series so It looks like I will be reading them all at some point. It's a classic and very tame for my tastes. Simple stories for kids. I like the way Paddington always gets into messes but never hurts anyone or anything. He is a very lovable bear."

About Michael Bond
Michael Bond (1926–2017) is the author of all the books about Paddington Bear. His first book, A Bear Called Paddington, was published in 1958. In 1997, he was awarded the Order of the British Empire for services to children’s literature. In 2007, he was made an honorary doctor of letters by Reading University. Michael continued to write every day of his life until he died at his home in London on 27th June 2017. He was honored with a Memorial Service in St. Paul’s Cathedral and is laid to rest, very appropriately, in Paddington Old Cemetery.
About Stephen Fry
Stephen Fry is an award-winning comedian, actor, presenter, and director. He rose to fame alongside Hugh Laurie in A Bit of Fry and Laurie (which he cowrote with Laurie) and Jeeves and Wooster and was unforgettable as General Melchett in Blackadder. He hosted over 180 episodes of QI and has narrated all seven of the Harry Potter novels for the audiobook recordings.
