Publisher Description

Lazarus Come Forth is a powerful and emotionally charged science fiction short story by Ray Bradbury, blending space warfare, resurrection, and moral reckoning into a haunting narrative that lingers long after its final twist. Set aboard a grim Morgue Ship drifting through the aftermath of an interplanetary war with Mars, the story follows Brandon, a man burdened by loss and duty as he searches among the dead for his fallen son.

Philosophical, suspenseful, and deeply human, Lazarus Come Forth stands as a quintessential example of Bradbury’s ability to fuse speculative science with timeless moral insight. Ideal for readers drawn to classic science fiction, wartime allegory, and stories that explore the soul beneath the stars.
