Publisher Description

Confessions of Beau the Gardener – England Late 1970's

Book 4 of 6 – The Colonel's Daughter

The summary of the ourth book in the series is as follows:

When Beau is hired to renovate the stables at Harrington Estate, he clashes immediately with Rebecca "Becks" Harrington—the Colonel’s tough, no-nonsense daughter who dismisses him as a superficial landscaper. Determined to prove his skill, Beau earns her grudging respect through meticulous work, bonding over shared values of craftsmanship and authenticity. Their professional tension blooms into romance during a storm-trapped afternoon in the hayloft, but the Colonel remains a formidable obstacle. Testing Beau’s character through a fencing duel, the retired military man ultimately approves when Beau demonstrates both skill and integrity. The project completes, but Beau’s real victory is winning Becks’ heart—and proving that beneath his polished exterior lies the substance she truly values.

The initial opening credit music is “Boy, you've got it”, which does run to approximately 3 minutes plus and the “customer” is hungry for his presence. The closing music, “Same time next week, ends the story with a cheerful optimism, I am coming back don't worry absence makes the heart grow fonder and release then is so much sweeter.

The story and music itself runs to just over 46 minutes and is narrated in my own voice.
