Jaclyn Moriarty grew up in Sydney, Australia, with four sisters, one brother, two dogs, and twelve chickens. She studied law at the University of Sydney, Yale, and Cambridge and worked as an entertainment lawyer before she wrote the Ashbury High novels. She still lives in Sydney, with her little boy, Charlie.

Amie Kaufman is the author of young adult fiction, including the Elementals series, Unearthed, and the Starbound trilogy, coauthored with Meagan Spooner; and the Illuminae Files trilogy, coauthored with Jay Kristoff. She was raised in Australia and Ireland and has degrees in history, literature, law, and conflict resolution.
