About Ruben Santiago-Hudson
Ruben Santiago-Hudson is an award-winning actor, writer, producer, and audiobook narrator. He is best known for his role as Doc in the Oscar-nominated film American Gangster. He won Broadway’s 1996 Tony Award as Best Actor in a featured role for Seven Guitars. His role in the television series Lackawanna Blues earned him a Christopher Award, the Humanitas Prize, the Black Reel Award, and the Black Movie Award.
