"Finally finished reading all the fairy tales. =="I was bored half of the time. Some of the stories are morbid but they end up to be 'happy' endings, so it's weird. :PAnyway, I especially liked 'ASHPUTTEL'. ^^ "

" children's audio/grimm fairytales. Though Laura Paton's narration was great, the tales themselves are rather lackluster, and I wouldn't expect this to hold the attention of an actual child (though probably fine for adults who are into these sort of audio tales). "
— Tracey, 6/22/2011" I read so many different versions, but I loved the ones where the violence was weeded out - in a Jungian interpretation they just grow, and grow, and grow. "
— Vicki, 6/7/2011" I've been reading bits of this book for many years. Definately a classic "
— Peggysue, 5/19/2011" I love this.
It's so interesting to read the original stories and not the disney ones.
this is something i definately would be sharing with my nephews. "
— Adele, 5/17/2011" If I was a seven or eight I'd probably give this book four stars. :-) "
— Joseph, 5/13/2011" The original versions are a little more messed up than the watered down crap we get today. "
