"I thought it was intresting that they brought the worgan in as the enemy at first, not giving many hits that it really was a worgan. Though I wish they would've spent less time focusing in on the night elves, overall, it was a rather enjoyable book."

" Rather disappointing, surprisingly. It felt more like the sub-plots from a much bigger story, probably due in large part to the fact that the only arc that gets truly resolved is the only one that, if you play the games, you already know will get resolved. (view spoiler)[Varian initially rejects Genn Greymane's petition to rejoin the Alliance, but after a scene in which they learn to understand and respect each other, Varian calls for a revote and the Gilneans are inducted, yaaay. But Maiev escapes without a trace after Jarod discovers she's the one behind the Highborne murders, and the big battle scene in Ashenvale against Garrosh and the rest of the Horde certainly is epic but accomplishes basically nothing. With the help of the worgen, Varian learns to control his rage, but only after his son ditches him to go study with Prophet Velen, and there is only a tiny paragraph that is supposed to be dedicated to the closure on that subject, rather than the big apology scene Anduin should have gotten. (hide spoiler)] I usually love these books but I'm glad I grabbed this one from the library instead of spending money on it. "

" Just to clarify all my World of Warcraft and Warcraft book reviews. If you played the games, the stars are correct. If you didn't, subtract 2 stars from all of my reviews. "

" Loved this book. My first WoW lore book and I have to say it was really interesting delving into the lives and history's of the characters I've come to know by name only. "

" This book was really good. I was a little disappointed it didn't involve more of the worgen but it was still full of intrigue and an epic battle for Ashenvale. I really enjoyed it! "

" A nice story set in the beloved city of Darnassus. Brief as it was, it was nice to observe up close the inner workings of the night elves and witness other great turn of events and epic battles. "

" A refreshing murder mystery and an (albeit suspected) twist. The development of the main characters and the interchanging plot deserves 5 stars in the Wow series "
