Illusion: A Novel Audiobook

" I was very excited to read this book. Frank Peretti is an excellent author and I love how he always includes God, even in the supernatural. This book is no different and does not disappoint. Dane and Mandy Collins, a husband wife magic team are getting ready to retire. They have bought a ranch in Idaho and are on their way to start their new life when they have a car accident, landing Dane in the hospital and Mandy waking up in the present at the age of 19. In this book Peretti gives us a mixture of romance, science fiction and suspense. "

" My kind of book! A bit sci-fi, weird plot line that I understood completely from the get-go. Thoroughly enjoyed. The timeline of the story all came together at the end, which is very nice, all the loose ends came together. "

Because of the nature of the story, I had to read every sentence in order to keep the events straight. I would definitely call this a love story, but it is so much more. If you do not like "magic" there is no need to read it; however, it is so interesting that I enjoyed the magician details as much as the rest of the story. I was able to "get into the story" a little faster than some other Peretti stories; however, I had to be very careful to read all of it. I skipped a couple of short paragraphs and had to go back and read them. "
