" This book is the second in the "Merlin Mission" series. It follows the first, with a magical trip to Camelot. Both this book and the one preceeding it diverge from her previous stories, by delving into the folklore and mythology that comes from Britain and other places, rather than actual historical events. Her stories are adventurous and exciting and we look forward to the next, but overall, I prefer her earlier stories. "

" I choose this book because, again, I am a very avid reader when it comes to Mary Pope Osborne books. The plot of this story is that Annie and Jack are to recover the Stone of Destiny from a haunted castle, with them help of a magician named Teddy. My favorite quote was "Spirits of the earth and air" because when I read it, it gave me the chills and also describes how haunted the castle is. Mary Pope Osborne tends to write so that not only it is enjoyable for a young age, it is enjoyable for all ages. I would recommend it to people who like scary stories, but not hardcore scary fans. I would also recommend it to people into magic because this book ties into magic a lot. "
