"I've read this book three times. I love it. I recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Drew Carey...humor...or the entertainment world in general. He opens up on many topics, while for the most part, keeping it light and fun. I'll be reading it again at some point...this book is great."

Quotes

  • “Eschews the watered-down collection of humor pabulum usually found in books like this. He actually divulges behind-the-scenes information, from ABC censors’ notes on Drew scripts (‘Lewis’ reference to “penis enlarging” will not be acceptable.’) to the always juicy, deep dark secret.”

    — Entertainment Weekly
  • “Endearingly human, provocative, profane, and hilarious…assemble[s] a complete, revealing picture of Carey, the flawed everyman. Instead of putting together a piece of whitewashed fluff, Carey admirably wrote a book that’s messy, occasionally controversial, and a lot of fun to read.”

    — AV Club
  • “He comes across as a drinking buddy on a particularly funny night. That’s what Carey set out to do—and there’s room on many bookshelves for that.”
