His just happened to be The Green Mile, and he was guilty but could not prove his innocence. He didn't want to continue with his healing powers though, they were driving him crazy. Excellent story. " The green mile was ok. It's not my normal genre that I read from and I always find that I don't enjoy a book as much if I have already seen the movie. There were a couple of things in the book that made me laugh out loud and the story got better near the end. Some of the scenes were quite graphic and really painted a picture in my head as I was reading it but the story didn't grip me. "
