" The Dark Tower, written by Stephen King and narrated by George Guidall is the last book in the Gun Slinger series. This is Mr. King's Opus Magnum and many of his other books owe it's origin to this masterpiece. Start at book number one (the gunslinger) and listen or read them all. It is fantastic and well worth the time. George Guidall is a fantastic narrator of this book. The ending is a complete surprise and absolutely perfect! "

" These books are just crazy! It's so complicated to decide how I feel about them. It took me awhile to get into them. But by the middle i was already invested in the characters, by the end i was crying for certain things, and was able to actually really understand the language. The ending was interesting, and a little fucked up. but i do feel like it made sense for this story. I don't think i would ever read this series again.. at least not for a LONG time. But overall I am happy with it. "

I am sure someday he will find true salvation.At this point I feel like Suzanne betrayed Roland and the spirit of ka-tet when she decided to leave Roland to finish his journey alone.While the other members of the ka-tet were true to their goal and gave their lives to it she just abandoned the cause.I am a little pissed-of!On the other hand the chapter Suzanne in New York was really touching and romantic.After having completed the series I am a little sad that this journey has ended but I am glad I have made it and enjoyed it.Respects to Sai King!!!!! " It was a long journey, but the Dark Tower was finally reached. Lots of surprises and loss and not the happily ever after ending you would've wanted, but you pretty much figured you were never going to get one of those, with Roland his is ka-tet. After 20+ years, I can finally put this story to rest. "
