Before I Say Good-Bye Audiobook

" I enjoy MHC novels because they are very easy reads. This one is no exception. "

" Seemed like the story went on slowly, then all of a sudden the last 20 pages had a lot of drama and answered questions. A couple of things were never answered. It's almost like MHC was writing, realized how close she was getting to 400 pgs, and hurried things along. The story itself was good though. "

" This book is mediocre. She did keep the suspense going until the end but the language was not that exciting and the characters did not have a lot of depth. It kind of reminded me of a Scooby Doo mystery. But it was fine for a quick read. I would not really seek this author out in the future. "

" I think this was supposed to be a thriller. Not in the least bit thrilling, though. Slow moving, predictable and boring, with two dimensional characters. Despite the main protagonist being female, the women were unintelligent, gullible and naive. Almost all wrapped their lives around men. I can't believe I finished it. The most annoying thing was that when the characters were thinking or feeling anything it was said in the first person. For example, a woman alone in her apartment might think (not say aloud) "Whenever I miss my husband, I like to wear his jacket because it makes me think of him." People don't think those things in words, they just feel them. "

" One of my more favorite Mary Higgins Clark mysteries. Her mysteries generally follow the same formula and I can usually figure things out before the book winds up, but this one threw me for a loop! The twists were most enjoyable! "
