" At first I thought my boys would not find this interesting because it seemed the setting of 1700's France was a bit girly. But it got more interesting and held their attention. I laughed out loud at some of the funny parts of this book. And I obviously have not read enough Magic Treehouse books, because I did not see where this was going and I was surprised by the historical character's appearance. This is just fun story telling for kids, and I don't mind listening either. "
