Sir Henry Newbolt Audio Books

Sir Henry Newbolt (1862-1938) was an English lawyer, novelist, magazine editor, and, above all, a poet who championed the virtues of chivalry and sportsmanship. His reputation was established in 1897 by “Vitai Lampada,” a poem written about a young cricketer who grows up to fight in Africa. Newbolt also authored two official volumes of the naval history of the First World War. He died in 1938.
