Ralph McInerny (1929–2010) was a philosopher, professor, and prolific author. He was professor of philosophy, director of the Jacques Maritain Center, and Michael P. Grace Professor of Medieval Studies at the University of Notre Dame. McInerny wrote a variety of nonfiction works on philosophy and theology; he was also the author of a number of fiction novels, stories, and poems.
