He is the author of a number of national bestsellers, including Easy Riders, Raging Bulls: How the Sex-Drugs-and-Rock ‘N’ Roll Generation Saved Hollywood; Down and Dirty Pictures: Miramax, Sundance, and the Rise of Independent Film; and Gods and Monsters: Movers, Shakers, and Other Casualties of the Hollywood Machine. Biskind has written for Rolling Stone, the New York Times, and the Washington Post, and he has served as contributing editor at Vanity Fair.
