Lucimarian Roberts Audio Books

Lucimarian Roberts (1924–2012) was born in 1924 in Akron, Ohio, and was the first person in her family to go to college. In 1946 she graduated from Howard University, where she met her future husband, Lawrence Roberts. Together they had four children. During her life she served as director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, New Orleans Branch, chair of the Mississippi Department of Education, and as a board member for the Boys and Girls Club of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. In 2011 she received the Medgar W. Evers Lifetime Achievement Award from the Gulfport branch of the NAACP.
