Dorothy Wordsworth Audio Books

Dorothy Wordsworth (1771-1855) was a Romantic poet and prose writer and the sister of one of the period’s most famous poets, William Wordsworth. Dorothy was an avid naturalist and many of her works explore themes of nature. Though she did not publish during her lifetime, many of her journals and poems have been published posthumously. In later years, she struggled with addictions to opium and laudanum, and William acted as her main caretaker as her health deteriorated until his death in 1850. She died five years later.
