Alissa Quart Audio Books

Alissa Quart is the executive editor of the Economic Hardship Reporting Project, a journalism nonprofit with Barbara Ehrenreich. Quart is also the author of four acclaimed books, Branded, Republic of Outsiders, Hothouse Kids, and Monetized, a volume of poetry. She writes a bimonthly column for the Guardian and her work appears frequently in many other publications, among them the Atlantic, the New York Times, the Nation, Marie Claire, and O, The Oprah Magazine. She received the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism’s 2018 Alumni Award and a 2017 Los Angeles Press Club Award for her commentary. She was a 2010 Nieman fellow at Harvard University and has been nominated for both an Emmy and a National Magazine Award.
