Alice Kuipers was born in London and currently lives in Saskatoon, Canada where she's a Pilates teacher. In addition to working as a producer for the CBC Radio, she has published several short stories in literary magazines. In 2008, her debut novel, Life on the Refrigerator Door, was nominated for the Carnegie Medal.
