"I had never heard of this book or this author but I received it as a gift and really enjoyed it. It was a fun romantic thriller where everyone had a motive. You also didn't know who was going to be the next one to die. It was an easy read with lots of sexual tension between the two main characters, Tess the psychiatrist who is the target of the killer and Aidan the cop who is investigating the crimes. Of course they disliked each other in the beginning which caused even more tension. It was hard to put the book down because there was something happening in every chapter. I was anxious to find out how everyone was connected. I guessed parts of the ending but it's an interesting puzzle. This would be a great beach book."

" I done Karen Rose no justice with this brilliant story. From the moment I laid my eyes upon the first word I was hooked, yet it took me so long to finish. Nonetheless I thoroughly enjoyed the book. The plot was well written and the characters were perfect. I could honestly say I felt as if I was in the room with each character be it in Aidan's home or in the police station, I felt involved. The only downside I could find was knowing or believing who was the baddie very early on and the ending also seemed a little rushed but that would not merit losing a star rating. "

" Karen Rose's books always have me guessing who the "bad guy" is, and more than not, I don't guess right. I love how the author does dialogue with all of the characters in her stories, and this books didn't disappoint. In this book, Tess and Aidan's relationship (from Aidan's point of view) develops from hate, to tolerate, to begrudgingly admire, to likes and eventually to love. The secondary characters in Ms Rose's books always make for a good story as well...you usually end up seeing them in future books. If you haven't started reading any of Karen Rose's books, I would recommend you start. In my opinion, this author writes some of the best romantic suspense out there. "

" A good romantic supsense. At times the main characters frustrated me. Their attitudes toward each other without due cause became annoying. This book is well written and not as graphic as some of this author's books. (thriller graphics) "
