About the Author

Alex Jennings is an award-winning narrator and actor of stage and screen. He has won more than ten AudioFile Earphones Awards. As an actor, he enjoyed a highly successful run at the Old Vic in Too Clever by Half, for which he won an Olivier Award, the Drama Magazine Award, and the Plays and Players Award for Actor of the Year. He has also won the Olivier Award for Best Actor in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of Peer Gynt. Among his numerous television credits are Inspector Alleyn, Hard Times, and Netflix’s award-winning series The Crown.

About the Narrators

Denis O’Hare is one of today’s busiest actors in the film, television, and stage worlds. The Tony Award–winning actor is best known to television viewers for his recent work on True Blood as Russell Edgington, Vampire King of Mississippi.

Nicola Barber, is an Audie Award and Earphones Award-winning narrator whose voice can be heard in television and radio commercials and popular video games such as World of Warcraft. She is also an Audie finalist in the prestigious category of solo female narrationfor her work on Murphy’s Law by Rhys Bowen and Call the Midwife by Jennifer Worth. She has performed on the stage in New York City and at a number of top regional theaters in the United States. Her film and television roles include The Nanny Diaries with Scarlett Johansson, and Law & Order’s 2009 season premiere. Originally from England, she currently resides in New York, a multicultural background that enables her to bring a broad range of accents and characterizations to her role as a full-time voice-over actor.

Stephen Thorne trained at RADA and played several seasons with the Old Vic Company and the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford and London. He has worked extensively in radio, with over two thousand broadcasts for the BBC, including Uncle Mort in the Radio 4 comedy series and the part of Treebeard in The Lord of the Rings. His television work includes EastEnders, Boys from the Bush, Death of an Expert Witness, and David Copperfield.

Howard Ward is an English actor who has taken leading roles at the Royal Shakespeare Company, appeared on numerous television programs and in over fifty BBC Radio productions, and regularly voices TV and radio campaigns. He has also narrated several series for National Geographic, Discovery Channel, and BBC Channel Four.

Andrew Wincott is a British actor and Earphones Award–winning narrator. He is most known in radio drama as the voice of Adam Macy in The Archers. He has worked with numerous theater companies throughout the UK.

Amerjit Deu is an Indian actor known for Bollywood Queen, Death Train, and Karma Magnet, and many television appearances. He lives in London.
