I was really intrigued by Zacharel since he started popping up in the LOTU series and was really excited to see him get his own book! It did not disappoint! We got to learn his story and find out why he was so emotionally cold as well as get to see him thaw! We also got to learn more about the angels and of course there was a fun appearance by some of our favorite LOTU and their leading ladies! This spin-off series looks to be a great addition to the world of the LOTU. "

" Showalter's Lords of the Underworld was a captivating series. Her writing was gripping, sexy and witty. Naturally I had high expectations for the first book in the Angels of the Dark series. It started off well, but part way through the writing did not seem to fit Showalter's style. It became rather amateur and I lost all interest in the outcome. "

" I would say 3.5. The main character Zacheral is hot!! And although the female lead character is a victim, she doesn't act like one and kicks butt. I will read the next one when it comes out. "
