"“Whiskey Beach” follows a well tried Nora Roberts’ pattern of a strong female character with the male character not weak but troubled. Redemption Coombes in the end, of course, this is, after all, a romance novel. It is very well read, and keeps the listener glued to his/her device to the end. The family is delighted, the killer brought to justice and the snarky cop gets his just deserts. A five star story.
