About Daaimah S Poole

Daaimah S. Poole was born and raised in Philadelphia. She graduated from Temple University with a BA in journalism. She is a journalist and the author of thirteen novels and counting.

About the Narrators

Karen Pittman is an American actress and singer. She received her bachelor of science in voice and opera at Northwestern University and received her masters of fine arts from NYU. Karen starred in the Pulitzer Prize–winning Broadway play Disgraced, and had a guest starring role in FX network’s critically acclaimed television series The Americans.

Kim Brockington is a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and an accomplished, stage and screen actress. She enjoys meditation, yoga, and long walks, writing poetry and fiction, cooking and spending time with her beloved family in NYC.

Rachel Leslie is an audiobook narrator whose readings include In the Midst of It All by Tiffany Warren, Saved and Single by Sheila Copeland, and Leonardo Da Vinci: Giants of Science by Kathleen Krull.
