    " 4/09 The ideas presented by Dr. Amand focus on eliminating phosphate buildup via using quaifenesin (expectorant) to reverse fibromyalgia. However in double blind studies there has been not support of its effectiveness. The book has good intentions but poor science. "

About the Authors

Dr. St. Amand discovered guaifenesin’s use as a treatment for fibromyalgia, and his work is often cited. He is an assistant clinical professor of medicine and is on the teaching staff at UCLA Harbor General Hospital. He has been in practice for over fifty years.

Claudia Craig Marek was tutored, trained, and taught by Dr. St. Amand and has worked with him to discover more about the Fibromyalgia for many years.
