Publisher Description

The explosion of a Chinese freighter - carrying illegal workers - in Charleston Harbor is the first sign that someone is capping Chinese interests abroad. After explosions in South Africa and Taipei, Op-Center roots out the cause: warring factions in the Chinese government. But still reeling from budget cuts and an almost devastating attack by an electromagnetic pulse explosion, Op-Center itself sustains a third hit: the removal of commander Paul Hood.

" Slow starting and hard to get into... This book sat on my desk at work for a very very long time, with me often looking for more work to do, than to finish this one. "

" war of eagles didnt prove to be one of tom clancys best books, i thought it lacked the action that i started to expect after reading the other books such as clear and present danger, and red strom rising, or even balance of power. the book had more political aspects and less of the military action.
