Ever been tempted to pretend you were someone exotic, someone adventurous, someone different?

Set in Ireland, England, and Australia, this is the funny and heart-warming story of two people whose lives are about to turn upside down and inside out. Eva is off to Australia on a break from her job in a Dublin delicatessen, hoping to forget a fizzled romance and find inspiration for a new career. Joseph is taking a holiday from his stressful London job. Each is on a search for some answers about life. Then something quite unexpected happens. They meet each other.

"An easy read; not a page turner, but I did enjoy the Dublin and Austraila settings for a change of pace. The characters were likeable even if the author did put them through a Shakespearean-esque comedy of errors, roller coaster ride to get to the end!"

" I'm not anti chick lit, it's just not my favourite genre. I picked this up at a 2nd hand book stall because part of it was set in Adelaide and the Clare Valley. Now I don't know how to rate it because this style of writing never does much for me. I read it very quickly and enjoyed it while I did, but I'm not sure I'd read it again. Funny but not laugh-out-loud funny, well written but not exceptional. I would have liked fewer characters who I got to know better, more detailed descriptions of people and places. So I guess my rating on the "type of books I like" scale would be a 3, but on the "if this is your thing" scale it would be a 4. Good for reading in the bath or at the beach this summer. I think I'll put it in the book exchange box in the lunchroom at work and say it was $2.50 well spent at the school fete. And try something else from this author as other people have said this isn't her best work. 3.5 stars from me. "

" This was a cute story but oh so typical chicklit. I was disappointed after getting into one of her other books. There weren't any twists to this one! "

" I really enjoyed this book. It's a romantic/comedy book..not laugh out loud funny but a comedy of mistaken identities and errors. Takes place in Ireland and Australia, one place I've been and one I'm dying to go... I really enjoyed this book. "

" Cute story...i thought it was written in a strange way, though got used to it and got very into it...and then realized why the author used so much detail. However, i found myself skipping paragraphs at a time when I found them just to be filled with too much irrelevance "
