Jo Wilder had the heart of a lion and the temper of a wildcat. And when Keane Prescott crossed her path, she bared her claws. Jo was certain her charming new boss imperiled everything she cared for, but she couldn't deny the attraction between them. Though Keane's kisses left her breathless, it was his tenderness that threatened to tame her heart. Download and start listening now!

Listener Opinions

" When I picked up this book, I had always thought I LOVE everything NR writes! Boy, was I wrong. I couldn't force myself past 50 pages of this one. It was just horribly boring. On a positive note, it shows how much NR improved over the years. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Miss | 1/6/2014

" It was a nice, easy read, but the thing that bothered me was the premise of the book, the circus life... i only went to see a show when i was little, and i didn't even it like then, i felt only pity for the poor animals. Also, i think the romance lacked spark, and the hero was barely fleshed out. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Vanessa | 12/17/2013

" This was an easy read, and one of her more simple novels, but I liked it. I'm not overly fond of the circus (I have this thing about clowns), but she did make it seem magical, as was her intention. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Miriam | 11/26/2013

" Very cute, short and sweet... "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Maria | 11/12/2013

" One of Ms. Roberts' earlier books, this one is enjoyable mostly for the fact that it is set in a circus and that the two protagonists don't immediately jump into bed with one another. This is a re-read for me and I found it perfect for the light read I needed at this time. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Tukang Kueh Keren | 9/29/2013

" nora roberts selalu memberikan kejutan-kejutan pada tokoh-tokohnya...seperti si Jo ini yang adalah penjinak singa cerdas dan suka membaca :D "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Miranda | 7/10/2013

" Good book, enjoyed this quick read very much. No it isn't like NR's usual lately but it it was still enjoyable. The negative reviews were making me think it was going to be horrible but I liked it. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Wan "The Snake Charmer" | 1/13/2013

" A quick read to finish on of my challenges. Tho, the cover has nothing to do with the story line. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Niki | 1/8/2013

" Love Nora Roberts and all of her books they are fast, easy, fun romances. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 ♆ BookAddict ~ La Crimson Femme | 12/19/2012

" Sex with the boss - not usually a good thing, but in this case, it was good. I do enjoy falling for the boss stories because well, I fell for my boss. "

  • 1 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 5 Amber | 8/19/2012

" This was CRAP!! How does an author gain so much popularity writing CRAP! "

  • 1 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 5 Karen | 7/21/2012

" I just never got into this book "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Mary Shive | 12/30/2011

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Carma | 8/27/2011

" I like a good romance, but this one seems so obviously early in Roberts' Silhouette career~~ it doesn't have the snap and fun that later McGregor books do, for instance. Plus, it's pretty much just a romance. No suspense, no danger (minor lion attack) no mystery. very lukewarm for me. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Monica | 5/23/2011

" Fantastic--I read it in one day because I couldn't put it down. I kind of knew how it was going to end about 30 pages in, but Nora Roberts writes so well, it never matters. Great book. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Amanda | 5/22/2011

" I didn't love it. I usually love Nora Roberts. She, along with Doritos, is my guilty pleasure. However, not as good as her usual offerings. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Jessica | 5/19/2011

" Not as brilliant as others by her. The characters were a tad flat, and the main character a little annoying. The mystery part was decent. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Dionne | 5/17/2011

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Sandra | 5/17/2011

" I as a rule really enjoy Nora Roberts for light reading, but this is far from her best. A few of her metaphors in this book are insipid. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Geraldine | 5/16/2011

" It was ok.....not as good as previous books. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Kristi | 5/15/2011

" Started out a little slow. It got much better in the middle. This is not one of her best novels in my opinion so far, still reading. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Shannon | 5/15/2011

" Enjoyable, although I guessed the villain halfway through the book~ "
