Publisher Description

A carefree performer finds her heart drawn to a man unused to being in the spotlight in life and love in Untamed by #1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts.

Lawyer Keane Prescott goes from courtroom to center ring when he inherits his late father’s family business—a circus. Working with acrobats and clowns hold no appeal for him, but his curiosity about animal acts is piqued after meeting lion tamer Jovilette Wilder. As bold and unpredictable a force of nature as the big cats she trains, Jo is wary her new boss intends to cage her passion. But to her surprise, Keane is more than willing to join Jo for a walk on the wild side.

"Good book, enjoyed this quick read very much. No it isn't like NR's usual lately but it it was still enjoyable. The negative reviews were making me think it was going to be horrible but I liked it."

" When I picked up this book, I had always thought I LOVE everything NR writes! Boy, was I wrong. I couldn't force myself past 50 pages of this one. It was just horribly boring. On a positive note, it shows how much NR improved over the years. "

" It was a nice, easy read, but the thing that bothered me was the premise of the book, the circus life... i only went to see a show when i was little, and i didn't even it like then, i felt only pity for the poor animals. Also, i think the romance lacked spark, and the hero was barely fleshed out. "

" This was an easy read, and one of her more simple novels, but I liked it. I'm not overly fond of the circus (I have this thing about clowns), but she did make it seem magical, as was her intention. "

" One of Ms. Roberts' earlier books, this one is enjoyable mostly for the fact that it is set in a circus and that the two protagonists don't immediately jump into bed with one another. This is a re-read for me and I found it perfect for the light read I needed at this time. "

" I like a good romance, but this one seems so obviously early in Roberts' Silhouette career~~ it doesn't have the snap and fun that later McGregor books do, for instance. Plus, it's pretty much just a romance. No suspense, no danger (minor lion attack) no mystery. very lukewarm for me. "
