"I was not able to get through this book fast enough for my son to steal it from me so he could enjoy the next chapter. Things get a bit more heated in this book while the romantic parts are great in my opinion I'm hoping Showalter doesn't go too far in book 3 it may be more than I want my thirteen old to read and he is chomping at the bit for the next book. Caleb is of course his favorite character especially in this second book. The ending is a mix and left him rather confused and looking for answers, bringing up questions I didn't even think of.
