"This one was a little slow to start (I found myself wondering when anything substantial would happen), but it finally did...and then I remembered why I love this series so much. The action, the adventure, the originality...the bad ass chick and THE SWOONS. I'm so looking forward to book three!!!"

" I still found the first book better but this was also a very good read. It was filled with excitement, action and a lot of emotionally charged scenes. I was surprised to see that I was on the last page already. Can't wait for the next installment. "

" Typical second book... it was good, but just a bridge between the first and third books. I am excited for the third, but will have to wait. "

" Not as good as the sequel but still an interesting reading. I wanted more of Aria and Perry's relationship in this book but what I got was more of their struggles on the own. It was still interesting but not what I was expecting. Love the characters especially Roar. And Live finally appears but it is bittersweet. I love the relationship growing between Cinder and Willow. Can't wait to read what happens next to Cinder. It was not the best book, but I will be excited to read the third book to see how it ends. "
