"Ok so I read this anthology for the story Reckoning by Jeaniene Frost. This is the prequel to her Night Huntress Series. Bones is still charming and hot. This story didn't bring out sexy Bones(I guess she was waiting for him to meet Cat) but he could just stand there and speak and be sexy to me. :) This story takes place in New Orleans and Bones is hired to kill a murderous ghoul couple the LaLauries. The Queen of New Orleans makes an appearance and you get the reason why when Bones visits her later on with Cat why he is so hestitant. We also see Bones changing his hair color to the blond that he will have when he meets Cat. He also mentions that after this job of killing these ghouls he will be going after Hennessey. So yeah it ends with Bones heading to that job and to the woman who will change his undead life."

" I would rate it 3.5 I really enjoyed Jeaniene Frost's story and Jocelynn Drake's story as well. I couldn't really get in to the other stories that much but these 2 made it worth it. I love Frost's writing and Bones is definitely one of my favorite characters so I enjoyed reading about him. I heard about Drake's series, the Dark Days but was unsure if I wanted to read it. Now I am definitely going to. I hope it does not disappoint. I did read Melissa Marr's story as well and I did enjoy it but it seemed to just end. I would have liked a little more. "

" Tried to read Ley Line Drifter without success. Read the Reckoning (the sole reason I had the book in my possession) and immediately started HTTG instead of reading the rest of the short stories. Guess I'll have to pick this book up again later! "

" I skimmed all the stories minus Frost's. Was a little unenthusiastic, but I will still check out the longer works of the authors I am not familiar with as I don't want to be quick to judge their body of work by one short story. "

" Lots of great short stories in this, I really enjoyed Jeaniene Frost's and Melissa Marr's ones, because we got to see Bones again, before he knew Cat, and that there was a new world for Melissa Marr, I hope that there's going to be a full length novel set in that world! It'd be awesome! "
