  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Jimmy | 2/19/2014

" My favorite Koontz book ever, the only bad thing I can say is why has he never written a sequel. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Kim | 2/3/2014

" It was a good book but I found myself trying to finish it and losing patience. The story was interesting to about the last 100 pages. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 StrangeBedfellows | 1/17/2014

" This book had a pleasantly spooky quality to it that made reading a fun little thrill; however, once finished, it was easily and quickly forgotten. In other words, this is one of those books you borrow rather than buy. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Barbara | 1/2/2014

" One of Dean R Kuntz best books "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Heather Principe | 12/23/2013

" Reminds me of Grimm "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Jan | 12/10/2013

" One of Dean Koontz's best supernatural thrillers. It takes place in a carnivalle where many of the freaks and workers are monsters in disguise. The main character has the "x-ray vision" necessary to recognize the true nature of the creatures. He also has the psychic gift of premonition. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Jodie Lennox | 11/28/2013

" I first read this book when I was in my teens. I loved it then and I've read it many times since and love it still. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Terry Coffey | 11/14/2013

" I like to read Dean Koontz as a filler. This one, though a little schmaltzy on the "goblin" subject, was a real thriller and unlikely love story. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Jonathan | 10/22/2013

" I want to see this made into a mini-series, with a class A script and good acting. One of Dean Koontz's all-time best. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Bryan | 9/11/2013

    " Koontz D.R. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Dan | 9/2/2013

" A good casual reader. It shoul have been a series. I'm pretty sure Mr.Koontzs was going to do it that way. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Charlotte | 8/15/2013

" I listened to this book on tape. I liked the story line. The only thing that knocked off points was the unnecessary sex talk and several instances of taking the Lord's name in vain. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Erin | 6/28/2013

" This is my favorite Dean Koontz novel. I read it in high school, and can't seem to ever let it go. It's just a really great book. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Danie | 6/13/2013

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Kathy | 6/1/2013

" Have read almost every book by Dean Koontz. They are either really good or really bad. This is one of the really, really, really good ones. Goblins in America. The life of a carnie. Love and betrayal. Who could ask for more? "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Amanda Connell | 3/18/2013

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Sandpiper | 12/27/2012

" Great Introduction to Dean Koontz. I will definitely read more. However there is one side effect, a Tourette's like compulsion to shout Goblins! "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Hope | 11/15/2012

" A little twisted and a lot of spooks, this is a good read. The carnival folks are very likable and even though there are a lot of demons running around it still is the classic good and evil showdown. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Malloryk0422 | 8/31/2012

" This is a very long and drawn out book, I still felt I had to finish it to see what would happen, very anti-climatic. I have read much better from him. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Carrie | 2/1/2012

" I remember liking this one a lot, although I don't remember the whole story. Something about a bunch of monsters posing as humans, but one man can see through their disguise. It's an eerie proposition I've always had a fondness for... the psycho killer is not psycho and everyone else is wrong! "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Shannon | 10/24/2011
