"I love this author. This book was great read and very easy to get into. I have read her 'Poison Study' series at least 4 times. I kept expecting her to use some of the same story devices in this book. I was pleasantly surprised that she didn't. While there were a few similar elements, it was fun to be back in one of her fantasy worlds. The dystopic societies she creates are diverse and the once again, the characters are well developed. It was not quite as good as Poison Study but a definite must read."

" i absolutely loved this book. Maria is one of my top favorite authors. I personally loved this book more than all of her previous books. The book kept me enthralled from beginning to end, but I'm so upset that I have to wait another whole year to continue the adventure. The books main character Avry was sassy and one of those girls that everyone wishes the could be. The book was well written, you couldnt help but fall in love with her characters. Thank you Maria for another well written book! "

About Maria V. Snyder

Maria V. Snyder is the New York Times bestselling author of the Study series, the Glass series, the Healer series, Inside Out, and Outside In. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she earned a bachelor of science in meteorology from Penn State and a master of arts in fiction writing from Seton Hill University. Unable to part ways with Seton Hill, Maria is currently a teacher and mentor for the MFA program.
