" I checked this out to read to my little guy who is starting preschool next month, and it turns out to be about a not so nice kid at school who makes Timothy crazy. He finds a friend in the end, but not what I was looking for as an into to the world of school. "

" I really wish Timothy's mother had encouraged him to stand up for himself instead of helping him try to appease a rude kid. Glad he was able to find a good friend in the end (even though they were bonding over who they didn't like in class). "

" Use this book for your kindergarten through first grade students. take them on a picture walk and see if students can make predictions on what may happen throughout the story. "

" I started out liking this book, and I am a fan of Rosemary Wells' illustrations. But the ending for me was dissappointing. Not okay to laugh at other people, and certainly not a good message for the picture book set (or anyone for that matter). "
