" Hermux comes off as a bit proper initially, but the trait becomes endearing somewhere in pages 30-50, when the mystery picks up. It all starts when an alluring customer drops off a watch for repair at Hermux's shop. She's an aviator/adventuress and emphasizes that her watch must keep perfect time, it could be a matter of life and death. She never returns to pick up her watch. As he begins to wonder about her disappearance, he uncovers a quest to discover the fountain of youth, for mice of course. Hermux has many colorful characters to aid and sometimes distract him as he unravels the puzzle, such as his neighbor, the queen of a cosmetics empire, a curious/nosy reporter, and his pet ladybug. "
