When the Lusitania sank, more than one thousand people died. One passenger, however, survived to become a changed man, giving up his life as a petty thief but keeping a small silver statue that would become a family heirloom to future generations. Now, nearly a century later, that heirloom, one of a priceless, long-separated set of three, has been snatched away from the Sullivans. And Malachi, Gideon, and Rebecca Sullivan are determined to recover their great-great-grandfather's treasure, reunite the Three Fates, and make their fortune. The quest will take them from their home in Ireland to Helsinki, Prague, and New York and introduce them to a formidable female professor whose knowledge of Greek mythology will aid them in their quest; to a daring exotic dancer who sees the Fates as her chance at a new life; and to a seductive security expert who knows how to play high-tech cat-and-mouse. And it will pit them in a suspenseful fight against an ambitious woman who will stop at nothing to acquire the Fates. Download and start listening now!

" I found the story a good one and I enjoyed it - HOWEVER, it is difficult for me to recommend it simply because it had FAR too much sex scenes in it. I find it so UNNECESSARY in a book and so making the book unenjoyable. "

" I loved this one. Nora does great trilogies and Im like an addict with her junk when she puts the trilogy in one book. If you agree, also read Montana Sky. "

" While I think Nora Roberts sits down with an already proven plan that she uses again and again, I still occasionally pick up one of the trilogies. They are very predictable, but still enjoyable. Light reading. This one had a little mystery that made it interesting. "

" One of my favorites by this author! She very easily could have had a trilogy, in my opinion. Somehow though, the three stories were weaved together with enough detail that I didn't feel short-changed. This was so creative and captivating :) "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Dena | 1/4/2012

" I loved this book. I had started it... then put it down for some reason... then picked it up again. Totally enjoyed it after the somewhat boring first chapter. I wonder how I could have thought that Nora Roberts could ever put out a boring book! "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Brienne | 8/26/2011

" the story was very well written and it captured my attention in the beginning but by the third part it became a litle bit cheesy when the author tried to relate her charcters paths to the spinning, measuring and cutting of the three fates "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Annette | 5/13/2011

" Almost didn't read this book because I thought it was going to keep going from character to character and loose some of the story. I should have known better. Nobody writes a better story with multiple characters than Nora Roberts. This is one of those books that you're almost sorry when it's over. "
