When Evangeline Stone wakes up naked and bruised on a cold slab at the morgue—in a stranger’s body, with no memory of who she is or how she got there—her troubles are only just beginning. Before that night, she and the other two members of her Triad were star bounty hunters, mercilessly cleansing the city of the murderous creatures living in the shadows, from vampires to shapeshifters to trolls. Then something terrible happened that not only cost all three of them their lives, but also convinced the city’s other Hunters that Evy was a traitor … and she can’t even remember what it was.

Now she’s a fugitive, piecing together her memory and trying to deal some serious justice—and discovering that she has only three days to solve her own murder before the reincarnation spell wears off. Because in three days, Evy will die again—and this time there’s no second chance.

" It was an okay read, lots of potential, but really wasn't gripped by the characters, they seemed kinda..flat and stale. On to the second one in the series though "

" I totally loved the book but I guess everyone would say I'm biased. A great herione who's strong and fights for what she wants. I can't wait to read more of the series. "

" I LOVED THE WAY this book starts off. The fact Eva is a strong female character definitely helps along the story.

The Dreg is in its own class with trolls, halfies, gremlins and ghouls. Kelly Meding has a phenomenal imagination. "

" This book is so boring that I can't bring myself to finish it. With over 100 pages into the book, the plot remains flat and we have learned little about the main character. My 14 day digital download is up from the library and I'm not bothering to renew. Maybe I'll try and finish it another time. "

" I really enjoyed this book. the story was complicated but kept the interested going. It lost a star for me because I felt they glossed over the relationship between Evy and Wyatt to start with and could have gone a bit deeper into it in the last quarter of the book. "
