" What a superb book, read in a couple of sittings - as others have said, an easy read in some ways, a very difficult one in others. Even if not to the same extremes, how many of us won't have known a Heddy in our schooldays who we treated in a similar way? I thought the way Laura's perfect life - and its disintegration - was described was quite superb. She's never a wholly likeable character, but the author plays well with your sympathy and condemnation. Lovely stuff, and looking forward to her next one already... "

" I really wasnt sure if Id enjoy this book once I had started it. However I realised maybe I just didnt want to enjoy the book due to my dislike for the main character at the beginning! I did however warm to her as the book went on and the story was a very heartfelt, and at times a little disturbing encounter of experiences of bullying. The book ends with a great twist, and I found myself in tears more then once! "

" I really enjoyed this book, although heart wrenching at times! I couldn't put it down, read really quickly too. She sounds like she has the 'perfect world' But Laura's past catches up with her she has much to deal with. Kids are horrible sometimes! "
