"Very interesting book. Like a series of articles, poorly organized with no coherent conclusion. Still, fascinating to read a book this old and recognize how very relevant most of it still is. Lots of true priciples I will endeavor to apply even though the writer is a sexist, atheist. Oh well. "

" Hill and his book are trapped in the cultural muddle of 1930s culture. Pseudo-Freudian ramblings about the subconscious and sex, painful repetition of a few simple points over and over for 200 pages (book could have been 25 pages), strange mysticism involving the tangible power of thoughts, and anecdotes that are clearly not true at all make this book look rather silly in the 21st century. I don't know why anyone would read this book except to answer the nagging question: "Why the hell is this one of the best selling books of all time?" "
