"I marked it a 4 but it might even be a 4-1/2. It's not a 5 because the ending just....wrapped up so quickly. It seems like something was missing. The start of the book was slow and I had no trouble putting it down, but as I got into it I hated to stop reading."

" I was somewhat compelled by the narrator and although the author changed the POV five times, it was still the same narrator, speaking in the same voice. The story held some interest until the end when it was finished with all the finesse of a trite mystery. The only mildly likable character was the former bad boy police chief. Every other character, under the guise of keeping secrets, was really just self interested and narcissistic. Why did I read this tedious tale to the end? In truth, I have no idea. "

" This book was a little hard to get into but once I did I had a hard time putting it down. The book changes narrators a lot, so at times it was hard to know what was going on. It kept me hanging though and wanting more. It was a really good read. "

" Very good read for a mystery along with the family dynamics between parents, siblings, and spouses. Liked how the author did separate point of view stories for the main characters involved. "

" The beginning was a little slow-going, but it picked up speed toward the middle. I think the author dropped too many hints, though, so it was no effort for me to figure out how the book would conclude. I really liked how it was written from several points of view, but there was a lot of backtracking as a result. That said, it was a decent book. "

" The book was good, but predictable. There were several POV's throughout the story, and each time another character's POV started, the story would start in a place that had already been read about. Although my predictions were confirmed, I still wanted to keep reading until the story was wrapped up completely. "
