About Logan Marshall

Logan Marshall, (1884-?) born Logan Howard-Smith, was an American writer and editor who specialized in books about current events that were produced quickly to satisfy public curiosity. Among the best known of Marshalls books are Life of Theodore Roosevelt, The Sinking of the Titanic and Great Sea Disasters, and The Story of the Panama Canal. The Sinking of the Titanic and Great Sea Disasters was published mere weeks after the tragedy, and continues to be referenced as a credible source of the events of April 15, 1912.
