" Fun read. Good guy Pigeon Tony admits killing really bad guy Angelo Coluzzi. Judy Carrier, his attorney, tries unsuccessfully to lead Pigeon Tony through his trail while at same time falling for his grandson, Frank. All ends well, though. Humor, intrigue, lawyering make this a good read. "

" Okay so the story has finally made me want to read it. The last few chapters have really grabbed be. Looking forward to finding out the twist. Have a feeling where it is going but not sure. Some thing tells me the old man didn't do it, but I could be wrong. We will see. "

" This took me longer to get interested in than the other books of this series. However, once the story got going enough for me I could not stop reading!! This story raises some interesting questions about murder versus killing, and just how much a human can withstand before taking justice into his own hands. I loved that history and an old love story was woven into the plot. I have yet to read a Scottoline book I didn't like. Superb writing. "

" Loved learning more about Judy Carrier, but I skipped the flashback sections of the book. I like these books for nonstop action, and the flashbacks interrupted the flow. "

" I actually like Judy Carrier and her pal Mary better than I like Bennie Rosato, who is the attorney that heads up the law firm featured in Lisa Scottoline's books. Good story....a good legal thriller-type read. "

" Good book, likeable characters, the parts describing Pigeon Tony in Italy were better than the rest of the book. The romance was a little unbelievable, but the book was good overall, not great. "

" Loved this book too. Not quite as much swearing, but pretty intense. And funny. One of the best parts about Lisa Scottoline's writing is her fantastic, sarcastic sense of humor. Love it! "

" This is now the third book I have read in two years that deals with homing pigeons. Who would have thought that this subject would traverse the world, showing up in Israeli literature (Yonah v'Naar [A Pigioen and a Boy], the Dove Flier, and in a Phildelphia detective story?
