Publisher Description

Time was rapidly running out for Simara the Well Master who desperately needed some human help. It was time to contact 'The Time Twins' and entice them down into his magic world....

On their adventure 'The Time Twins' Jack and Abbey Merrington meet many exciting characters such as Aura Lightsleeper, a junk shop ghost and his pet monkey Charlie, two Quercus folk called Robur and Chinkapin, Simara the invisible Well Master, Elsie the Rainbow Fortune-Teller, Irene the Tooth Fairy, and her father, Albert the Pirate! The story begins in October 2000 and the oak trees hang precariously by the tips of their roots and are in danger of falling into oblivion and taking the acorn folk with them. The Twins are lured into another world and told that they are the 'chosen ones' and must avert an environmental disaster that faces planet Earth.

Will The Twins have enough imagination and faith in the Magic Zalam to succeed? Only TIME will tell!

"I found this to be a great improvement over the Dragonlance Chronicles. You can tell that Weis & Hickman have a lot more experience, and the story is very engrossing and flows very well, and the end definitely left me eager to read the next in the series. I do hope they manage to do something interesting with Crysania, who so far is fairly useless and is lacking in character. But overall a great fun read."

" The twins are some of the most amazing characters. Their depth and interactions with each other makes the reader see the events conspiring around them, in different lights. The book is just really well written and the character development is very amazing. "

" Small Review: My two favourite characters are on this book. Raistlin and Tassheloff. Caramon and Crysania are in it too. Interesting tale about the mind of Raistlin and the quest to rule the Abyss overthrowing Takhisis. This was the tale of Finstandituls and Raistlin travelled back in time to fulfilled it. Interesting tale. "

" Read circa 1995, so rating it as if I'm still that age when I say it was a hit. I'm sure that I would rate it lower today, but if you are 15, or buying a book for someone who is 15, get them this series. "
