" I cannot recommend this book highly enough! I'm reading again right now, probably for the 3rd time, because it's "life fundamentals"....you know how they say in sports, just keep going back to the fundamentals? Well, that's what this book is about for me. I read a chapter or two a day (Jack has written this pretty long book well, with pretty short chapters), highlight what hits home and stuff to work on as I'm pursuing my goals and dreams. GREAT STUFF! This should be a course in high school and college...seriously. "

" Such a powerful book!!I keep my copy close by and try to read a little passage or two regularly. I've marked it up and underlined many, many lines...incredibly postive.I picked this up as a New Year's gift to myself last year, and it's the best book (life-wise) I've bought in a long, long time. "

  • 1 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 51 out of 5 Tim | 9/11/2008

" I like CJ and have enjoyed a number of other works by him. This did not do it for me. Main character was stock hard-boiled detective and was uninteresting. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Alex | 7/7/2008

" While this wasn't as bad as I expected, lord, it wasn't good either. Hard boiled cthulu fantasy detective fiction, ends with the east coast blowing up all die-hard 4 style... Man, this was a lousy book. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Trevlix | 7/17/2007

" This is the first in the Teddy London series. Pretty high in the Lovecraft mythos, this solidified my addiction to Robert Morgan/CJ Henderson stories. "
