Eve never imagined herself as a stepmother. Clare, a teacher and single mother, is Eve's best friend. Mandy is the stay-at-home mum. As a cup of coffee turns to a bottle of wine, conversations evolve into ones about each woman's deepest hopes and dreams. " fantastic book about relationships of stepmothers. i never thought of it this way, well written. "

" Very chick-lit. Dragged on a bit. As a stepmother, I found myself thinking, "oh God no" at a few bits, just because even I found it a bit unrealistic. Dropped one character seemingly all together somewhere in the middle of the book, only to really bring her back in the epilogue. "

" Overall a really good story line I love the idea of a group of women dealing with their step parenting together. I really liked but that teenage daughter drove me up the wall I wanted to get into the book and scream at her. "

" I loved this book. I think that anyone who has, knows, is or could someday be a stepmother should read this. It's also a great story about friendship. "

" Typical group novel. Four women gather together for support in dealing with the problems involved in being a stepmother. "

    " For a "chick-lit" book it was't bad!
The characters were generally believable and whilst it's got the inevitable happy ending, the little twists on the way kept it interesting. "

" I was quite dissappointed in this one. As a stepmother myself I sometimes find things rather hard & thought ther maybe some good advice in here. Plot was ok but could of been better x x "

" This is a top deckchair/bath read. I get bored of this type of book quite quickly, but I rather liked the characters in this one, and soaked a bit longer to find out what happened. "
