"The lady who adopted Ben never told Ben that he was the long-lost prince. I think she didn't say this at first is because she wants Ben to understand the responsibilities that princes are suppose to have. She also probably doesn't want him to know is that he would get too excited."

" If you want to check out one of the authors that J.K. Rowling ripped off, Ibbottson is a great place to start. Raymond bears a striking resemblance to one Dudley Dursley (who was created several years later). "

" I recently bought this book because I had read it as a child and it bothered me greatly that I could not remember what happened. I didn't really like it now, but that just might be because I'm too old for it. It had a charming sort of plot line that I'm sure I might have liked fourteen years ago, but not now. For young children only, I think. "
