" Sylvie and I had a great time reading this one. And here I thought it was just for girls. We started the movie tonight after finishing this one. I don't recommend the 1975 version, which is streaming on netflix. "

" This was a very nice book to read; I loved the healing and hope in this story. It is very victorian, with themes of the virtues of nature and positive thinking. It is definitely different than most classics, as there is not a lot of conflict; maybe that's because it's meant for children. I can't wait to read this one with my children when they're old enough. "
