"I really liked this book! I've seen the movie a million times, it's one of my favorite of all time! I was afraid that I wouldn't like the book because I love the movie so much, but it all turned out good. They were essentially the same story, but the book had more details of how Marguerite was feeling throughout her whole experience of love and betrayal. I think I like the story in the movie a little better, but in the end, it was all the same!"

" The book starts excitingly and mysteriously enough, but end with a whimper instead of a bang and rather too quickly. The movie staring Anthony Andrews and Jane Seymour improves upon a well conceived if poorly executed plot. "

" It has been almost 20 years since I last read the Scarlet Pimpernel, and I have wanted to read it again since finishing the The Game of Kings (The Lymond Chronicles #1). The book is as clever, fast-paced, and as filled with intrigue as I remembered it. "
